A few questions – interview with brutal death metal band from Poland - INDIGNITY.

A few questions – interview with brutal death metal band from Poland - INDIGNITY.

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play , etc.?

Hail Satan! Indignity was founded by guitarist Miras and drummer Tarki in 2014. Shortly after Sesil joins for bass guitar. We had problems finding a vocalist, so we jumped into the studio to record a three piece demo- Decrepitude, which we thought would help us find a vocalist. A few months later Kilas joined the band, and finnished the domo with his vocals.

Our playstyle is mix of old school death metal and newer; brutal, slams and grind.

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

The recordings took place in the same studio as our first demo- Orion Studio. It is a place run by our old friend in a town near by. The studio is situated in a private house, so the conditions are great. A friendly, yet fully professional atmosphere is just what a band needs.

The production process was done by Daniel Azar Arendarski, but of course we had full control of what was going on.

How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?

There are 2000 of physical copies, released as a fancy digipack. Apart from that you can buy Realm of Dissociation via Amazon, iTunes etc, or directly through the bands store- http://indignityofficial.8merch.com/, or http://indignity.bigcartel.com/ so whatever option is good for you - you have it!

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?

The lyrics are written by our vocalist - Kilas. They deal about life, society, religions, brutality, mutilation, and whatever is in Kilas‘ sick and twisted mind. Of course every member brings his own ideas, and if they are interesting enough, we discuss them, and write something together.

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

Arkadiusz Doniak is the author of the logo, album cover and background used for graphics are made by Łukasz „Pachu“ Pach. Kilas makes graphics, posters etc. for our fanpage but whole band takes care about our social media activity. It is considered by us as important becouse we use it as a promotion tool. It’s the easiest way to reach lots of viewers, fans.

Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you?

Sliptrick Records. They offered us best conditions. It's hard to say if we are satisfied becouse our relation is very short. We’ll see what support we’ll get from the label, the most important is booking good shows, we want to play a lot, and everywhere we can.

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?

There's a lot inspirations, mainly old school death metal like Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Decapitated etc. We are playing as technical as we can and adding some brutality and slam.

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?

We got a lot of responses and good feedback but we belive we chosen the best one.

How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

We are playing as much gigs as we can. Last time we played with bands like Krisiun or Korpse. In this year we will play few more gigs, we will play in Prague before Pathology. We think that gigs in open space are the best ones.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

We are planning to play a lot more gigs, across whole europe, promote our music, and progress.

How and where can your fans contact you? Can you provide some contact information?

Fastest way is via facebook fanpage.

Thanx for the interview.

We also thank you!
