A few questions – interview with death metal band from France - CREEPING FEAR.

Answered Clément.

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play, etc.?

Hello, we are Creeping Fear a Death Metal Band from Paris. We released in 2012 our first demo Unleashed, an EP World Execution in 2013 then we signed with Dolorem Record and released our first full length Onward to Apocalypse in 2017. We have Clément on vocals/Guitars, Gabriel on lead guitars Guillaume on bass and Gabriel on the drums.

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

We did sign with Dolorem Records with that album, and we went to the Sainte Marthe studio with Francis Caste to record and mix Onward to Apocalypse. The mastering has been done by Alan Douches at the West West side studio.

How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, and cassette)?

I don’t have the exact number of copies but the album is available both in CD and Digital. Maybe a vinyl will come someday!!

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?

Clément did wrote all the lyrics on the album. It depends sometime the lyrics are written before the riff sometimes it is the other way around lyrics are written around the riffs. Mostly about what we faced theses last years, religion fanatic, war, the darkest side of human being.

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

Christophe Szpajdel did our logo. And the artist who did all the visuals for Onward to Apocalypse is Ubbo Sathla. I think it’s where the underground lives, where we can announces gigs promote ourselves without social medias it would be hard to get some visibility so i guess it’s important. We need a place where people can easily find our music and stuff.

Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takes care about you?

We chose Dolorem Records for their proximity with us and so far we have nothing to complain about!

Which bands do you idolize and where do you get your inspiration?

If we had to make a top 3: Suffocation, Death, and Behemoth.

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?

Not yet, I guess we will do that when we will need a new label for the second album we are working on?!

How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

This years around 10 gigs in clubs and festivals too. We love small clubs show, we opened for Cryptopsy in Paris a few months ago the crowd was insane, definitely clubs shows.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

I think we all want to continue the promotion of the album by playing more gigs and keep writing new stuff for another album.
