A few questions – TERRÖRHAMMER

A few questions –  TERRÖRHAMMER

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play , etc. ?

Hails! I am Pentagramator the Helltyrant, vocalist and guitarist of TERRORHAMMER, Serbian necro speed horde officially founded in 2010. We deliver our own brand of necro speed metal a kin to the proto black metal and unholy thrash cults of the 80's!

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

„Under the Unholy Command“ was recorded on several different places with me taking care of the overall production, mixing and mastering in Wormhole Studios. This kind of situation was mainly caused by the fact that our guest drummer Honza „BUTCHER“ Kapak (Avenger, ex-Master's Hammer) was recording in his own Hellsound Studio located in Czech Republic and the rest of us doing our parts in Serbia.

How many copies  were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?

Deathrune Records first released the album digitaly through bandcamp then followed by the print of 1000 Cds. Vinyl version is currently in the works with a first press of 500 copies.

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with ?

I myself am the composer of all music and lyrics on „Under the Unholy Command“. Our lyrics are primarily based upon themes of witchcraft, grave desecration, supermacy of evil, necromancy, worship of the dark side and more, all centered around the cult of Devil.

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

Logo was done by our previous vocalist WarBeast Holocausto and the for website none since we don't have or use one. Our activities are being published through social networks which we find as an important and useful tool if used correctly, but the way we see it, many people make mistakes by limiting and making themselves dependent exclusively upon media.

Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you?

We came in contact with Deathrune Records back in time when I was still a member of KAWIR from Greece. This connection was established upon the fact that Deathrune released the latest Kawir album and were interested in a possible future cooperation with Terrorhammer. After some minor negotiations both parties agreed to do a full–lenght album and so the deal was made. As well as our overall impression we still can't say a lot, since the album went out pretty much recently, but we are surely satisfied with the present situation's development.

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?

We are mostly inspired by the proto black metal and thrash cults of the 80's such as early works of Sepultura, Bathory, Kreator, Sodom, Mayhem etc. Apart from this we get a lot of inspiration from crustpunk and classical heavy metal scene which we are personally very fond of!

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?

No, we didn't send our record to labels.

How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

Terrorhammer is still young act despite the fact that we, it's members have been active on the scene much before it's concepcion and therefore the band didn't have such impressive numbers of live shows so far. Yet, we managed to play more abroad than in our native Serbia with Romanian Thrash Metal Fest in 2013 being one of the most memorable live performances so far.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

We are in talks for some live shows in Europe and Russia durring 2016 where we could present our material in it's real form which is live, raw and mean! Beside that we are already working on some of the next materials which we might be recording quite soon.

How and where can your fans contact you? Can you provide some contact information?

Majority of news regarding Terrorhammer's activities are publicated through our facebook page – facebook.com/Terrorhammer , everyone interested can follow it from there, others can write on – pentagramator@gmail.com.
